尼苛劳[尼苛劳党]（Nicolaus[Nicolaitans,Nicolaitae]）

尼苛劳，希腊人名，意即「得胜民族」，为宗徒以覆手礼祝圣的七位首批执事中的一位。他原是「归依犹太教的安提约基雅人」，之后接受洗礼而成了教友（宗6:5,6）。默2:6,15记有为天主谴责的尼苛劳党，由于该党的名字和这位执事的名字同，是以不少的人以这位尼苛劳乃该尼苛劳党之党魁，不过究其实是否是这位尼苛劳，未能予以证实。

总之，从《默》把尼派和巴郎及依则贝耳等谬说统称之为「撒殚奥义」看来，而且尼党被耶稣所申斥的既有「行为」（默2:6），又有「教训」（2:15）：「行为」极可能是指不顾道德的淫荡行为，尤其在参加教外人的祭宴时，更难免不沾染教外人的恶习；「教训」也即是他们藉以放纵任性的邪说谬论，如诺斯士派中所倡言的二元论，什么一切物质皆出于恶神，肉身既属物质，则不必予以重视，是以可任意胡为等。此外也极可能有圣保禄在致哥罗森教友所写的书信内的一些错谬思想（见哥罗森书条）。

Chapter 6

1那時候，門徒們漸漸增多，希臘化的猶太人，對希伯來人發出了怨言，因為他們在日常的供應品上，疏忽了他們的寡婦。 1In those days, as the number of disciples grew, the so-called Hellenists complained against the so-called Hebrews, because their widows were being neglected in the daily distribution.
2於是十二宗徒召集眾門徒說：「讓我們放棄天主的聖言，而操管飲食，實在不相宜。 2So the Twelve summoned the whole body of disciples together and said, "It is not right that we should neglect the word of God to serve at tables.
3所以，弟兄們！當從你們中檢定七位有好聲望，且充滿聖神和智慧的人，派他們管這要務。 3So, friends, choose from among yourselves seven respected men full of Spirit and wisdom, that we may appoint them to this task.
4至於我們，我們要專務祈禱，並為真道服役。」 4As for us, we shall give ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word."
5這番話得了全體的悅服，就選了斯德望，他是位充滿信德和聖神的人，和斐理伯、仆洛曷洛、尼加諾爾、提孟、帕爾默納及尼苛勞，他是個歸依猶太教的安提約基雅人， 5The whole community agreed and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and Holy Spirit; Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenus and Nicolaus of Antioch who was a proselyte.
6叫他們立在宗徒面前；宗徒們祈禱以後，就給他們覆了手。 6They presented these men to the apostles who first prayed over them and then laid hands upon them.
7天主的道漸漸發揚，門徒的數目在耶路撒冷大為增加，司祭中也有許多人，服從了信仰。 7The Word of God continued to spread, and the number of the disciples in Jerusalem increased greatly and even many priests accepted the faith.

Chapter 2

1你給厄弗所教會的天使寫：「那右手握著七顆星，而在那七盞金燈臺當中行走的這樣說： 1Write this to the angel of the Church in Ephesus, "Thus says the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand and who walks among the seven golden lampstands:
2我知道你的作為、你的苦勞和你的堅忍；也知道你不能容忍惡人，並且你也曾查驗出那些自稱為宗徒而實非宗徒的人，發現他們是撒謊的人； 2I know your works, your difficulties and your patient suffering. I know you cannot tolerate evildoers but have tested those who call themselves apostles and have proved them to be liars.
3也知道你有堅忍，為了我的名字受了苦，而毫不厭倦。 3You have persevered and have suffered for my name without losing heart.
4可是，我有反對你的一條，就是你拋棄了你起初的愛德， 4Nevertheless, I have this complaint against you: you have lost your first love.
5所以你該回想你是從那裡跌下的，你該悔改，行先前所行的事：若你不悔改，我就要臨於你，把你的燈臺從原處挪去。 5Remember from where you have fallen and repent, and do what you used to do before. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place; this I will do, unless you repent.
6不過你有一條：就是你惱恨了尼苛勞黨人的行為，這也是我所惱恨的。 6Yet it is in your favor that you hate the doings of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
7有耳朵的，應聽聖神向各教會說的話：勝利的，我要把天主樂園中生命樹的果實，賜給他吃。」 7Let anyone who has ears listen to what the Spirit says to the Churches: To the victor I will give to eat of the tree of life which is in God's Paradise."

12你給培爾加摩教會的天使寫：「那持有雙刃利劍的這樣說： 12Write this to the angel of the Church in Pergamum, "Thus says the one who has the sharp, double-edged sword:
13我知道你居住的地方，在那裡有撒殫的寶座；當我忠信的見證安提帕在你們中間，即在撒殫居住的地方被殺的時日，你仍堅持了我的名字，從未否認對我的信仰。 13I know where you live, where Satan's throne is, but you cling firmly to my name; you have not renounced me, not even in the days when Antipas, my faithful witness, was killed in your place, where Satan lives.
14可是，我有反對你的幾條，就是：在你們那裡，你容忍了一些堅持巴郎教訓的人；巴郎曾教巴拉克在以色列子民前安放了絆腳石，叫他們吃祭肉，行邪淫； 14Nevertheless, I have a few complaints against you: Some among you hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak how to make the Israelites stumble by eating food sacrificed to idols and comitting adultery.
15同樣，你也容忍了一些堅持尼苛勞黨人教訓的人。 15Also, among you some follow the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
16所以你應當悔改，不然，我就要迅速臨於你，用我口中的利劍攻擊他們。 16Therefore, repent; if not, I will come to you soon to attack these people with the sword of my mouth.
17有耳朵的，應聽聖神向各教會說的話：勝利的，我要賜給他隱藏的『瑪納』，也要賜給他一塊刻有新名號的白石，除領受的人外，誰也不認得這名號。」 17Let anyone who has ears listen to what the Spirit says to the Churches: To the victor I will give the hidden manna. And I will also give a white stone with a new name written on it which no one knows except the one who receives it."
